KRUUSE Sacryl Plus is a synthetic, absorbable, sterile braided suture composed of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide (Polyglactin 910), coated with glycolide/lactide (Polyglactin 370) and calcium stearate. Designed for soft tissue surgery where a midterm absorption profile is needed, it is suitable for GI, urologic, gynecological, and orthopedic procedures, as well as subcutaneous suturing and muscle repair. The violet, USP 0 (EP 3.5) suture features a 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle (30 mm) and a 70 cm length for dependable handling and visibility. Absorption occurs over 56–70 days. Packaged 12 per box with a 5-year shelf life from the production date.
