KRUUSE Monofast is a synthetic, absorbable monofilament veterinary suture composed of polyglycolide-co-caprolactone for reliable soft-tissue approximation. The violet USP 5-0 strand is 70 cm (27.5 in) and mounted on a 13 mm, 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle for precise, clean entry and excellent visibility. Suitable for subcutaneous or intradermal suturing, GI surgery, urological surgery, and approximation of oral mucosa such as gingival flaps. Sterile with a predictable 90–120 day absorption profile, and supplied in a convenient 12-pack to support clinical efficiency.
