KRUUSE Monofast is a synthetic, absorbable, monofilament suture composed of polyglycolide-co-caprolactone for dependable wound closure in veterinary surgery. This undyed USP 2-0 (EP 3) suture is supplied on a 70 cm strand with a 24 mm 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle, packaged sterile. Indicated for subcutaneous or intradermal suturing, GI surgery, urological surgery, and approximation of oral mucosa such as gingival flaps. Absorption occurs over approximately 180–220 days, and each box contains 12 peel packs with a 3-year shelf life from the production date. A practical choice for small animal and mixed-practice clinics handling routine soft tissue procedures.
