Excede injection
Excede Injection is a ready-to-use sterile suspension from Zoetis containing ceftiofur crystalline free acid, a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including beta-lactamase–producing strains. Each mL provides 200 mg ceftiofur equivalents for dependable livestock health products. Approved for cattle (including lactating dairy cattle) to treat bovine respiratory disease and bovine foot rot, and for horses to treat lower respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible Streptococcus equi ssp. zooepidemicus. This intramuscular cattle antibiotic and equine antibiotic comes in a convenient 100-ml vial for use under veterinary direction.
