The Cislak EN-8 XL double-ended small spoon excavator (EXC31L) is a precision veterinary dental instrument for cat and dog dental care. Designed for curettage, it is used for small tooth socket debridement (often in cats and small dogs), to clean and shape dental caries before filling, and for endodontic purposes. Its small spoon tips also lift deep, floating root fragments, making them easier to grasp with root splinter forceps during extraction. The Featherweight XL ergonomic handle is lightweight, slightly larger in diameter, and comfortable for excellent control. Made in the USA of German stainless steel and autoclavable at 135°C/275°F; lifetime warranty covers faulty material and workmanship (damage from incorrect use not covered; contact Serona).
